Eleven11 Recruitment are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our clients construction team and prepare accurate cost estimates for a variety of projects. Location: Ipswich, Suffolk Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a subcontractor background to join our clients Civil Engineering and Groundworks team. Based in Suffolk, the Estimator will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders, assessing project costs, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful delivery of bids. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in groundworks, civil engineering and reinforced concrete. Responsibilities: Prepare tenders, cost plans, and budgets. Review drawings and specifications for accurate take-offs. Source and negotiate prices from suppliers/subcontractors. Identify risks and advise on cost-effective solutions. Submit competitive bids within deadlines. Requirements: Experience as an Estimator in construction. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Ability to read technical drawings. Knowledge of materials, labour rates, and market trends. Proficient in MS Office and estimating software. Full driving license A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying (HND, HNC, or Degree level). In return what can our client offer you?
