HGV Driver Class 1 / Class 2

We are looking for a skilled and dependable HGV Driver to join its busy Haulage team in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers or newly qualified individuals looking to build a long-term career in logistics and distribution. Hours: 48 hours per week (average), 5 shifts per week Shift Pattern: Night shifts, with start times between 20:00 03:00 The Role As an HGV Driver, youll play a key role in the delivery of fresh products to wholesale customers, depots, and retail partners across the UK. Operating in a temperature-controlled, multi-drop environment, youll ensure timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while upholding high standards of customer service and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Operate HGV vehicles (Category CE or C) in line with UK driving laws and tachograph regulations Carry out multi-drop deliveries, ensuring product quality and stock rotation Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly Load and unload goods safely, including manual handling and use of equipment Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, and security procedures Record deliveries, returns, and payments using handheld devices or manual systems Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle Represent the business professionally and deliver excellent customer service What Were Looking For Full UK driving licence Category CE preferred, Category C considered Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Strong communication and customer service skills Flexible and reliable, with availability for night shifts and occasional weekends Newly qualified and Class 2 drivers welcome full training and career development provided
