A leading national housebuilder is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Livingston. Key Responsibilities Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of allocated housing developments Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and forecasts throughout project lifecycles Procure sub-contractors and suppliers, negotiating best value and maintaining strong relationships Assess, value, and process sub-contractor payments in line with contractual terms Monitor site costs and report on variances against budget Provide accurate monthly cost/value reconciliations and cashflow forecasts Support tender submissions and contribute to value engineering opportunities Ensure compliance with company commercial policies and procedures Work closely with site teams to support successful project delivery Candidate Requirements Proven background as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the residential housebuilding sector Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant discipline (or equivalent experience) Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant surveying software Whats on Offer Competitive salary package (DOE) Car allowance, bonus scheme, private medical cover, and pension Structured career development and progression opportunities The chance to work on high-quality housing projects with a market-leading business Interested?
