Sub Agent

About the Company Our client is a highly respected, well-established civils contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Scotland. About the Role With continued growth in their order book, they are seeking a motivated Sub Agent to join their dynamic project delivery team. As a Sub Agent, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Agent and project team in the safe and efficient delivery of projects. As this is a permanent role you would be expected to relocate or live within commutable distance. Sponsorship is not available for this role. Responsibilities Support the Site Agent in day-to-day project management and delivery Supervise site engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out in line with specifications and drawings Oversee quality assurance, health & safety, and environmental management on site Contribute to planning, programming, and progress reporting Manage site documentation, risk assessments, method statements, and permits Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the wider project team to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery Qualifications Previous experience in a Sub Agent or Section Engineer role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects Required Skills Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality, and environmental management systems Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage people effectively Proficient in using engineering software and Microsoft Office A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work to deadlines Pay range and compensation package Competitive salary and benefits package What’s on Offer Opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile engineering projects Clear pathways for career progression within a supportive, forward-thinking company Ongoing professional development and training
