Reach Truck Driver - Loanhead

Job Purpose: To safely and efficiently operate a reach truck within the IKEA warehouse, ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and retrieval of goods in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate reach trucks to move pallets and products to designated storage locations. Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and internal transfers. Ensure accurate stock placement and inventory control using warehouse management systems. Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment. Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including picking, packing, and stock replenishment. Follow all health and safety regulations and IKEA operational standards. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth work flow. Qualifications & Experience: Valid Reach Truck license (RTITB or equivalent). Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and hand held scanners is an advantage. Good understanding of health and safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items when required. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
