OUR CLIENT A leading name in the maritime industry THE ROLE We have a new vacancy for a senior recovery adjuster with 5 years plus experience to join a successful and growing business The role will involve the review and handling of new claims Liaising with clients and Surveyors and other professionals Presenting claims to opponents with detailed explanation of claims, liability and settlement matters Requesting, negotiating, and obtaining suitable Security Liaising with opponents to resolve recoveries at the earliest opportunity THE CANDIDATE To be considered for this position, you will have a sound understanding of national and international conventions in the shipping sector Excellent knowledge of Bills of Lading, Charter Parties and Contracts of Affreightment and knowledge of General Average, Salvage & Collision cases You will have significant level of experience handling recovery work, excellent technical and organisational skills Lipson Lloyd Jones Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
