MEP BID Coordinator

Calling all MEP BID professionals with an M&E background. Our Tier 1 M&E subcontractor is currently looking for someone that is ready to hit the ground running whilst also gaining new skills and exposure within the BID M&E department. Our client works on a mix bag of projects from commercial though to high end residential. About the role: As part of the BID team, you will be a crucial part of the tendering, BID and reporting process. Key responsibilities: Tendering projects ranging between £5m to £55m and being involved through to construction Review and analyse project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and client requirements, to develop accurate cost estimates. Including for full MEP bids. Prepare quotations in line with project specifications Keep up-to-date cost data reports Work closely with project managers and engineers to evaluate potential risks, value opportunities, and alternative solutions within project bids. Support the preparation of bid submissions and contribute to presentations for both internal management and clients. Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, quotations, and submissions for tracking, reporting, and future reference. Proactively review and refine estimation practices, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
