TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401! Pay Information $2,073 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: NC or Compact license required at the time of start Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Teamwork approach to patient care Focus on patient safety Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancellation. Required skills and experience include a teamwork approach to patient care and a focus on patient safety. Experience in Neuro medicine is preferred. Candidates should be willing to learn the charge nurse role. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Travelers may float based on their skills and unit needs. Weekend shifts are required, equating to 5-6 weekend shifts over the contract duration. Candidates may be required to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO is allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment. Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions. Two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months are preferred at the time of submission. Completion of modules is required before starting. All testing related to compliance must be completed within 48 hours after signing.
