About The Position Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Duration:13 Weeks Description: Registered Nurse in the ICU provides specialized care to critically ill or injured patients, closely monitoring their condition and administering treatments. They manage life-support equipment, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans. ICU nurses assess patient status, provide emotional support to families, and ensure patient safety in high-pressure environments. They work in intensive care units, often responding to emergencies and life-threatening situations. Develops, coordinates and delivers care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric. Cares for a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgical. Maintains the standards of professional nursing.
