SUMMARY This position is responsible for maintaining accurate cycle counts and reporting the data to inventory control and the Warehouse Manager. CORE DUTIES INVENTORY Print daily inventory count sheets. Perform counts based on bin locations designated by Syteline. Submit daily counts to inventory control in Hudsonville. Perform any recounts/rechecks that are requested by inventory control. Get verification on recounts that are needed. Responsible for reporting any adjustments dealing with quantity variances to inventory control in Hudsonville and the Warehouse Manager. Responsible for keeping records of daily counts on file for future reference. Maintain bin locations for product in facility using FIFO. Report to Quality any product defects. WAREHOUSE Strive for 100% on-time delivery and picking accuracy of customer orders. Maintenance and execution of customer specific shipping instructions. Proper mode selection for shipping of product. Inspection of picked product for potential damage. Put away product accurately and in a timely fashion. OTHER Keep all equipment & tools in good working order and return them to designated storage area. Maintain warehouse in a neat, organized fashion. Secure product and facilities. Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Report any unsafe condition/behavior. Maintain a high level of teamwork. Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor. JOB DESIRABLES AND REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, At least 1 year experience driving sit down and stand up forklifts. Previous experience using MRP systems for shipping and receiving functions. RF gun experience. Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to stand 8-10 hours. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to obtain a forklift license. Basic computer skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Basic math skills. Data entry skills. Good driving record.
