Pay Information $2,055 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: LTAC MS Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2-3 years of nursing experience required License: Compact or state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with EPIC EMR Experience in high-acuity settings Experience with complex patient care Description: We are seeking experienced registered nurses for our LTAC MS/Tele unit. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience. The acuity of our patients is high, and the unit can be very busy. Nurses must have experience with EPIC EMR to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Certifications required include ACLS and BLS. Special procedures include TPN administration, wound care, drainage management, Foley catheter insertion, and narcotic administration. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5 or 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted, but previous travel experience is preferred. Block scheduling may be considered. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical and religious exemptions accepted. Flu vaccination is also required with exemptions. The unit provides care for adults and geriatric patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more. Daily census averages 28 patients with a 35-bed capacity. Candidates must have experience in antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, controlled medications, and management of chronic and acute conditions. Additional skills required include interpretation of arterial blood gases, management of various medical devices, and familiarity with emergency medications. Submission of a NURSYS report is required during the hiring process.
