The day shift consists of 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC. The night shift consists of 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC. Patient ratios are 5:1 on day shift, 6:1 stretch on day shift, and 7:1 stretch on night shift. Standard medical-surgical equipment is utilized. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. Typical hiring profile: Candidates with neuro experience are preferred. Typical procedures performed on this unit include Foley insertion and IV starts. The best personality fit is self-motivated and outgoing. Floating areas may include other medical-surgical floors. Dress code is navy blue scrubs. Every other weekend is required. This position is a contractor replacement.
