Job Description & Requirements Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2306.70 - $2527.56 VIT needed asap Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy and summarized below: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect. High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience.) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI). Valid BCLS certification required/ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire. *Must have Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification. *Must have BLS and ACLS Certs *Must have experience at least a year experience scrubbing within Cath Lab, Diagnostics, PCI's, Impellas, Balloon Pumps, Peripheral diagnostic interventions *Structural Heart and EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred but not required. *IR experience preferred but not required. *Must have a team first mentality and help out when needed *No Fellowship program at facility *Merge Hemo and Merge Cardio programs utilized. *Will be working in a four (4) person team *Will be responsible for Scrubbing in and setting up tables *Department is both Cath Lab and EP *Three (3) labs, Range from 12-20 cases per day Required Qualifications Vascular Interventional Technologist, Vascular Experience: 2 years Licenses: RAD-MI Certifications: VI(Copy needed); R(Copy needed); BLS(Copy needed) OR Cath Lab Technologist, Cath Lab SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history References: 1 Reference in entire work history Job Benefits Allied travel assignments are typically for 13 weeks and offer generous packages that include: Competitive pay rates Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) and Flex Spending Life Insurance Accident and Short-term Disability Coverage Free Continuing Education Competitive Housing Deal Refer a friend and earn extra cash!
