Job Title: Technologist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years or more experience with trauma and stroke experience required License: Current State/District license required Certifications: BLS required, AART RT(R)CT required Must-Have: Must live 100 miles away Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required Description: Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors. Position the body correctly and review physician's orders. Obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs. Reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self. Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and supplies. Manage contrast reactions and codes. Ability to schedule and complete exams. Enter correct charge codes. 1 call shift per week (7pm-7am) required.
