Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,719 per week in Lafayette, IN

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Indiana state license required Certifications: BLS, CNMT or NMTCB required Must-Have: - Ability to multitask - Team player - Adult and Nuclear Cardiology experience required - Experience with various nuclear imaging procedures Description: This position requires a Nuclear Medicine Tech with skills in multiple imaging techniques. Candidates should be comfortable with Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts. The shift start times will vary between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Call will rotate weekly for after-hours, including weekends. No weekend work is required. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. The tech will need to be proficient in gastric emptying, HIDA scan, Muga scan, 3-phase imaging, whole body bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, and ventilation/perfusion studies. Experience with pharmacological stress tests and isolation precautions is necessary. Candidates must be able to start and maintain peripheral IVs and manage the storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials. This department emphasizes teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult and nuclear cardiology settings. A commitment to working a minimum of two out of three major holidays is expected.
