We Hunt, on behalf of an important client present in Catania and operating throughout Sicily in infrastructure projects, is seeking a Site Manager . The candidate, reporting to the Project Manager, will be responsible for executing the project, ensuring adherence to the work schedule and budget, and coordinating and controlling various operational phases to optimize resource efficiency and effectiveness. Main responsibilities: Project management and monitoring Supervise project progress in all phases, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality standards specified in the contract. Collaborate with the Project Manager to define and monitor the budget, work schedule, and technical-economic management of the project. Implement corrective actions to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency. Quality, safety, and regulatory compliance Ensure the project meets quality and regulatory standards. Guarantee compliance with safety regulations, environmental protocols, and legality standards, including assuming related powers and delegations. Supplier and subcontractor management Support the Purchasing department in selecting and managing suppliers, providing technical input to identify the best partners. Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring periodic evaluation and adherence to company standards. Oversee expediting activities and logistics control, verifying delivery times, quantities, and conformity of received materials. Coordination and resource management Ensure effective management of personnel involved in the project, fostering internal communication and policy compliance. Collaborate with the management control team to collect and analyze project economic data. Procurement and planning support Prepare detailed requests for proposals, ensuring all technical elements needed for negotiations are included. Ensure proper monitoring of procurement activities according to the established plan, supporting supply chain management functions. Essential requirements: Master's degree in Civil or Building Engineering; Experience in a similar role; Proficiency in main software (Word, Excel, Adobe); Experience with industry-specific software (AutoCAD, Project, Primus, etc.); Previous experience in infrastructure and/or roadworks; Positions available across Sicily We offer a salary commensurate with experience and direct employment with the company.
