Job Description

Qualifications Matric Engineering, or Project Management related degree or diploma Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in construction project management. Proven experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects. Solid understanding of NEC contracts, construction methods, and regulatory frameworks. Proficient in MS Projects, MS Office, and document control systems. Professional registration with PMP and or SACPCMP (Pr. CPM) is required 6 months Contract with a possibility to extend Duties Design supply and installation of High Mast Poles and foundations Design supply and installation of earthing and lightning protection Design supply and installation of distribution boards Removal and replacement of light pole and existing high mast luminaires, connection boxes and trailing cables Construction of high mast foundations Construction of draw chambers Trenching and laying of supply cables Installation of poles (Steel and fibreglass, chemical anchored, planted and bottom hinged) Illumination survey Plan, execute, and manage construction projects within defined scope, budget, and schedule. Develop and implement method statements and Quality Control Plans in line with project and industry standards. Create and manage detailed schedules using MS Projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones. Maintain effective document control systems for accurate and traceable project records. Engage and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure clear communication and successful delivery. Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, and report on financial performance. Ensure timeous completion of project phases and final handover. Administer projects under NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and effective change management. Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing corrective actions as needed. Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and variations with suppliers and service providers. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
