Job Description
The main purpose of the role: To acquire new business for the allocated branch within the Distribution market by meeting monthly and annual sales targets. This includes developing and converting qualified leads into sustainable, billing clients while maintaining strong client relationships and upholding the companys standards. Responsibilities: Secure new business in the allocated region and achieve monthly/annual sales targets. Identify and develop qualified leads, converting them into active, billing clients. Build and manage long-term client relationships. Handle monthly billing processes and provide financial reporting. Perform general administrative tasks as required. Professionally represent the brand in all business dealings. Analyse sales data and report weekly to the Regional Sales Manager. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information. Conduct industry and competitor analysis to identify opportunities. Support the preparation and delivery of tenders and proposals. Ensure timely implementation and communication of signed business. Manage client debtor days in line with company policy. Collaborate across departments to identify cross-functional solutions. Mentor junior New Business Sales Executives. Keep all client files updated in line with company procedures and quality standards. Update and maintain the CRM system regularly. Requirements: Matric 1-2 years New Business Sales experience in the Transport and Logistics industry Experience in prospecting for new business Experience in achieving new business targets set Tender Management Experience in selling cross silo solutions Developing and managing a qualified new business pipeline Reporting day-to-day to the Regional Sales Manager Monthly reporting (where needed/requested)
