Workshop Foreman (Transport/Truck Industry) Klerksoord, Pretoria North Key Responsibilities: Diesel mechanic knowledge for reporting faults on trucks. Supervise workshop and wash bay staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and task assignment. Oversee repair and maintenance of trailers; review completed work for quality. Maintain records, process work orders, and update job cards. Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Order supplies and operate or arrange servicing of equipment as needed. Address and resolve employee or customer issues and complaints. Requirements: Education: Qualified Diesel mechanic Experience: Minimum 2 years in a transport/logistics workshop; experience with tautliner and/or tipper trailers. Strong leadership, teamwork, and customer service skills. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities. Basic computer literacy; able to read, interpret, and compose work orders. Qualified to operate heavy machinery; calm in emergencies.
