THE POSITION The Training Site Infrastructure Manager reports to the FWWC27 Head of Infrastructure and Technical Services and FIFA Training Sites Manager, serving as a key member of the FIFA27 Tournament Infrastructure team in close collaboration with the Team Services, Team Facilities team and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure all deliverables align with FIFA's exacting standards while optimizing operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction. This position plays a pivotal role in the planning, development, and delivery of infrastructure at FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 training sites across Brazil. Working alongside the FIFA Training Site Manager and in coordination with Team Services, Technical Services, Pitch Management, Venue Design, Dressing & Signage, Media Operations, Partnerships and external stakeholders (Training Site Authorities and Football Clubs), the role is responsible for ensuring all training sites are operationally ready and compliant with FIFA’s requirements and standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in architectural and interior design, technical project management, stakeholder coordination, and large-scale international event delivery. As demonstrated through global events such as FIFA World Cups and Olympic Games. They will manage the implementation of training site upgrades, including renovations, overlays, and delivery of essential infrastructure, with a focus on strategic planning, design integration, and resource optimization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and infrastructure delivery strategy for all FWWC2027 training sites, incorporating best practices in venue planning, design management, and stakeholder engagement. Coordinate the implementation of renovations and upgrades, overseeing construction quality, progress, and alignment with FIFA’s requirements and standards. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of overlay and technical service delivery, including scope definition, scheduling, procurement, installation, and handover. Engage with Training Site Authorities, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery. Implement project controls for budgeting, reporting, and risk mitigation. Ensure sustainability, cultural alignment, and aesthetic quality across all training site environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Pitch Management, Cleaning & Waste, Venue Design, and Dressing & Signage to ensure cohesive delivery. YOUR PROFILE 10 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and delivery of international sporting event infrastructure. Proven track record in managing venue delivery and readiness, overlay operations, or major venue infrastructure for events like FIFA World Cup or Olympics. Strong technical expertise in space planning, stakeholder communication, and procurement processes. Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM 360, MS Project, and other project management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and implement effective solutions. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Driver’s license Right to work in Brazil. Fluent in English (spoken and written) Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written) Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro. J-18808-Ljbffr
