Quantity Surveyor - Brickwork Contractor (Essex) Join a well-established brick and blockwork contractor with over 30 years' experience delivering commercial and residential projects. We are looking for an ambitious and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial team, support business growth, and provide expert advice to clients. Key Responsibilities Oversee projects from inception through to completion, including monthly cost-value reconciliations and final account forecasting. Provide professional and commercially sound advice to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Lead tender negotiations, manage project risks, and ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced environment. Work independently while contributing effectively within the wider team. Requirements Proven experience in brick and blockwork is essential. Strong background in measurement and surveying. Excellent communication skills with sound commercial awareness. Degree-level qualification (or equivalent). Right to work in the UK with strong, checkable references.
