Project Specialist

Job: Project Specialist Company: BAE Systems Hourly Rate: £20.00 PAYE or £26.76 Umbrella Location : Barrow-in-Furness - twice per week hybrid Contract : 12 months (Opportunity to be extended) Working Hours : 37 hours per week Key Responsibilities : Delivery of defined work packages / tasks to cost/schedule/quality targets Monitor and report project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives. Leading problem-solving sessions to pro-actively overcome project issues Establish & maintain customer/supplier relationships maintaining regular communications & managing expectations. Taking responsibility for achieving customer satisfaction. Skills & Qualifications : Good knowledge and understanding of PM policies, processes, procedures and systems. PM experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project. Good knowledge and understanding of their project. Good understanding of one or more PM tools techniques and practices. Good knowledge of the Business environment for their project. Knowledge of PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). Experience of working with stakeholders typically inside the company.
