In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone/remotely). Testing new technology. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary. Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests. Logging customer queries/issues in the company ticketing system promptly. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge Technical troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Communication skills: Clear and professional communication with internal staff and external customers. Problem-solving: Logical thinking and ability to find solutions under pressure. Time management: Prioritising tasks, logging work accurately, and meeting SLAs. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and support the wider team. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and processes as the business evolves. Attention to detail: Ensuring accurate configuration, updates, and documentation. Customer service mindset: Professional, polite, and patient when assisting users. Salary, Hours?&?Benefits: £18,000 per annum Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 21 Days plus Bank Holidays This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, well support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification. Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. Youll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. Youll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team.
