Building Control Surveyor

Building Control Surveyor needed in Southampton, £403.89 per day PAYE - 5274866 BSR at Class 2 Apply Building regulation requirements and associated legislation to a range of projects in order to ensure a safe accessible and sustainable built environment To participate in the achievement and maintenance of efficient and effective quality services, including marketing initiatives. To participate in the administration and enforcement of the Building Regulations and related legislation To carry out site inspections for compliance with appropriate regulatory and policy standards. To be competent in applying current building regulations (Approved Documents) in order to ensure appropriate standards on construction sites, and also keeping abreast of any changes to technical requirements. To undertake site inspections to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations. To maintain inspection records, prepare reports, attend meetings, prepare and give evidence, as necessary, in an efficient and accurate manner, using computerised systems, as appropriate. To report immediately any contraventions or departures from approved plans, Approved Documents or planning consent conditions when inspecting works in progress to the Principal Building Control Surveyor.
