Kitchen assistant

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant (School) Location: Sevenoaks Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:15am - 2:15pm (15 hours per week) Salary: £13ph Contract Type: Term-time only Temporary We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team in a busy school kitchen. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation and serving of school meals Washing up and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are upheld at all times Supporting the kitchen team with daily tasks as needed Ideal Candidate: Experience in a similar role is helpful, but not essential - full training can be provided A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team Good timekeeping and reliability A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer: Family-friendly hours (term-time working, no evenings or weekends) Supportive working environment Opportunity to make a real difference in children's daily lives This role is to start immediately.
