HR Due Diligence

Job Description

HR Due Diligence / Post-Acquisition Specialist – DACH Region We are currently partnering with a private equity client preparing for an imminent acquisition. They’re building a flexible HR bench to step into high-pressure deals where time is short, detail is critical, and value creation is the end goal. This isn’t traditional HR – it’s high-impact due diligence and post-acquisition delivery. Think: reviewing contracts line by line, modelling redundancy and restructuring costs, navigating European employee law, and helping shape what an organisation will look like post-deal. What you’ll be doing: HR Due Diligence at pace – reviewing employment/management contracts, social plans, and hidden obligations. Supporting post-acquisition or post-merger HR: restructures, contractual changes, organisational design. Working closely with deal teams to cut through incomplete data and deliver robust, fact-driven analysis. Driving TSA readiness and first 100 days setup – payroll, HR systems, compliance, works councils. What we’re looking for: DD first and foremost – detailed, direct, straight-talking and robust. Experience of HR due diligence, ideally with restructures or post-merger integration. Strong knowledge of labour law and works council processes. Able to operate in a private equity-style culture: fast-paced, results-driven. Commercially minded – comfortable producing high-level costings, not just theory. Day rate contract | Initial 2–4 weeks Flexible on Location at this time This is a high-turnover, project-based environment – ideal for someone who thrives on intensity, variety, and making an immediate impact. If you’ve got the grit and expertise to deliver HR DD and restructuring in the toughest deal environments, I’d love to connect.
