Lead Electrical Commissioning Specialist Warrenton, Missouri Type: Contract Compensation: $70 hourly /- Per diem: $115/day Paid mob and demob Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 50 hours per week System One is currently seeking a strong Lead Electrical Commissioning Specialist to complete the start-up and commissioning of a 300-megawatt photovoltaic electric generating facility in Warrenton, Missouri. Lead Electrical Commissioning Specialist Responsibilities: Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at customers' photovoltaic solar plants. Diagnosing and repair of faulted inverters on field, troubleshooting (replacement of FRUs, replacement of MV transformers, replacement MV switchgear, electronic boards, AC and DC fuses, fans, and filters) and other components. Complete on time daily field reports that capture time and work completed on site. Responsible of inventory parts assigned to the technician to perform at work at the field. Responsible of caring for company property such as company vehicle, tools, electronic devices, and PPE. Follow procedures to provide maintenance to inverters. Attend warranty claim service tickets. Follow up procedures of Safe Start and Safe Stop. Responsible for physical installations such as connections, wiring, etc. Knowledge of central inverters desirable Technical understanding of AC, DC, SCADA, instrumentation and communications networks Lead Electrical Commissioning Specialist Requirements: Must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience in the areas of photovoltaic electric generation Knowledge of central inverters desirable Knowledge of central inverters desirable Principles of High Voltage operations Technical understanding of AC, DC, SCADA, instrumentation and communications networks Good knowledge and understanding of solar PV technology is essential Good knowledge and understanding of HVAC, fire protection, security systems is desirable Good knowledge and understanding of battery storage technology, although training can be given in this area Additional Information: Start date: ASAP Duration: 9 months plus Location: Warrenton, Missouri Mobilization and demobilization paid Per diem paid Weekly Pay Benefits after 30 days 401k Long-term contract opportunity System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
