Travel MRI Tech - $2,467 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers (will review travelers with 1.5 years if strong Level I/large hospital experience) License: ARRT American Registry or Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Cardiac experience is a major plus - Experience with IV starts strongly preferred Description: Traveler’s permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility to be eligible to apply. Position involves performing MRI scans across various specialties including neuro, MSK, and abdominal exams. Specialty exams include breast imaging, enterography, and patients with pacemakers. Experience with Siemens scanners is required, specifically 1.5T Aera models. ICU patients are scanned regularly; conscious sedation is not performed. The work environment includes interdisciplinary support teams such as IV teams and rapid response teams. Daily patient census averages 40 with 3 MRI rooms available. Potential candidates should be prepared for varying patient demographics including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This role requires strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Candidates must exhibit professional behavior and adhere to compliance policies throughout their duration of employment. More than one call-off may result in termination and no-call, no-show incidents are grounds for immediate dismissal. Modules related to the position must be completed prior to the start.
