The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a remote Associate Director Medical Writer for an exciting pharmaceutical organization. Responsibilities Lead medical writing projects and activities across therapeutic areas and preparing scientific and regulatory documents related to the clinical development of investigational and marketed drugs and biologics. Documents include CSRs, subject narratives, clinical investigator brochures, protocols, briefing documents, and sections of INDs and NDAs/BLAs Interprets and summarizes data from biostatistical summary tables and listings accurately, precisely and concisely into narrative text. Liaises with internal groups Requirements PhD in life science/Pharm D preferred, open to MS degree with 5 years’ experience Must hold a broad range of experience in pharmaceutical medical writing and clinical/pharmaceutical development and knowledge of regulatory guidelines. 3 years in medical writing with focus on regulatory document preparation American Medical Writing Association (AMWA) certification or other desirable Knowledge or and/or ability to quickly assimilate US, ICH and international regulations, requirements and guidance associated with scientific and clinical/regulatory document preparation and submissions Additional Details: Part-Time, 15-25 hours per week for onboarding/training and depending on the skills of this person could be asked to do up to 40 hour/week as the position grows.
