Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour and Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours or 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R*, BLS, CCI RCES*, CCI RCIS*, CVT also accepted* Must-Have: - Accessing/Managing Ports - Accurate monitoring - Angioplasty - Baseline Measurements - Cardiac Stent Placement - Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines) - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab - Endovascular Interventions - Hemodynamic monitoring - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab - Left heart catheterization - Pacemaker Insertion - Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) - Right heart catheterization - Stent placement - Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy Description: Schedule consists of 6 weeks of 4x10 hour days followed by 1 week of 5x8 hour days. This rotation provides a 4-day workweek every 6 weeks. Weekend work is included in call requirements. Call coverage requires 12-14 days over a 6-week period and 1-2 weekends during the same timeframe. Employees must remain within 30 minutes of the facility during on-call hours. Floating may be required within the facility and within the scope of practice as needed. Candidates must pass a clinical screen to verify fit, after which a final decision will be handled by management. Requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days. If assigned during a major holiday, candidates are expected to work, with additional requirements based on the number of holidays. Full compliance is required to ensure a timely start. Local candidates are welcome and will receive the same rate. Completion of modules during orientation is required, with hours factored into non-billable time. Candidates must submit required documents within 48 hours of signing the contract for an on-time start.
