Job Description & Requirements Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT) StartDate: 1/5/2026 Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $2460.95 - $2696.57 Neurological Studies/Procedures Carotid Angiography Embolization Stent placement Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy Vertebroplasty Vascular Studies/Procedures Carotid Stenting Procedural Responsibilities Equipment set up Perform EKG lead placement* Prep access site* Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias* Room circulator Scrub- maintain sterile field Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)* Equipment and Devices Fluoroscopy* Siemens Work Settings Interventional Radiology Special Procedures Professional Knowledge and Skills Isolation Precautions* Equipment/Operation/Maintenance PACS* Infection Control Sterile Technique Additional Skills Strokes Required Qualifications Vascular Interventional Technologist, Vascular RAD-OH(Copy needed) Certifications(At least one of the following): VI-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed), R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed), BLS-AHA(Copy needed), ACLS-AHA(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history References: 2 References in the last 12 months ACLS*, ARRT VI*, BLS, State licensed The UH OR has a hybrid OR suite that is utilized by Neurosurgeons who are endovascular specialized. The cases include diagnostic cerebral angiograms, treatment of strokes, ruptured aneurysms, AVMs, and carotid stenting. The shift is negotiable is 4x10s (6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Monday-Friday, with on-call requirements for after hours and weekends. There will be a minimum of 125 hours of call per month required.
