Travel CT Tech - $2,200 to $2,560 per week in Morristown, NJ

Job Title: CT Tech Key Responsibilities Demonstrates professionalism and service excellence while performing CT imaging procedures. Obtains necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies per established protocols. Maintains sterility of the field and instruments during procedures. Prepares requisitions accurately and completely. Communicates effectively with patients and families before, during, and after procedures to reduce anxiety, while maintaining dignity and privacy. Adheres to all HIPAA regulations and respects patient confidentiality. Verifies patient identification according to AHS policy. Monitors patient condition before and after contrast injections; promptly reports changes to nursing staff and radiologists. Ensures availability of medical records, lab results, and patient history prior to procedures. Initiates emergency response protocols in case of complications. Maintains adequate linen and contrast media supplies in CT scanning rooms. Follows room assignments (CT 1, 2, and 3) and assists in maintaining the storeroom and inventory. Participates in daily stocking and inventory of medical and radiology supplies. Notifies lead staff of expired or soon-to-expire medications and equipment. Cleans and inventories supplies and equipment; ensures cleanliness of the CT gantry, table, and peripherals after each use. When assigned as Point Staff , triages procedures according to the daily schedule and coordinates emergency and unscheduled requests.
