Travel Technician - $2,000 to $2,100 per week in Galveston, TX

Length of assignment: 13 weeks Shift: Monday – Friday, 0700 - 1530 Weekends/Holidays: As needed Required Experience/skills: Advanced endoscopy skills required – ERCP and EUS On call: To be discussed with manager during interview Must be able to process scopes and use Medivator Advantage Plus scope machines Job description: The endoscopic tech is responsible for assisting all areas of the Endoscopy department as well as handling all equipment on both the unit and for travel cases. In addition, the tech is responsible for specimen collection, assisting the physician, fellows, and registered nurse during the procedure. This position also assists with the sterilization, high level disinfecting and cleaning of endoscopy equipment and room turn around. The tech will assist with setting up and breaking down procedure rooms at the beginning and end of shift, as well as assist with daily, weekly, and monthly documentation for quality assurance logs.
