MECHANIC LEVEL C INCENTIVE

Job Description Job Description ESENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES • Must follow all safety regulations required by Company and OSHA. • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies. • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. • With strong mechanical and electrical maintenance information background, maintain the ability to answer questions and requests; to include welding. • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Have a working understand of food safety requirements as outlined in BRC, SQF and USDA. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Fill out Daily Maintenance Form. • Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • None LANGUAGE SKILLS • Ability to communicate with others orally. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. REASONING ABILITY • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 3:30pm-2am 6pm-6:30am 6am-6:30pm
