Were looking for a warm, inspiring Assistant Manager who can lead by example, support our teams growth, and deliver great service to our guests. Approx 42 hour week What Youll Be Doing as an assitant manager position with Inn Cornwall Supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy, high-turnover pub and restaurant. Delivering a warm welcome and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. Motivating and developing the team to achieve their best. Driving sales and maintaining high standards across all areas. Taking the lead in the absence of the General Manager. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality. Promoting the business through events, promotions, and community engagement. Monitoring customer feedback and implementing improvements. Availability Requirements for a pub / restaurant assistant manager in Cornwall Weekend and evening availability is essential youll rotate key shifts with other managers. Must be over 18 and eligible to hold a Personal Licence to authorise the sale of alcohol. Own transport required some shifts and closes fall outside public transport hours. There is no live in with this position so a close commute is important. Who You Are: A natural leader with a passion for hospitality. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. Experienced in high-volume environments. Skilled at recognising and nurturing talent. Organised, tidy, and confident in decision-making. Excellent communicator with a UK driving licence.
