About The Role Identify requirements in the Supply Chain Planning, planning, risk and opportunity mitigation, and monitor the production program while overseeing planning areas. Responsibilities Identify the requirements outlined in the Supply Chain Planning. Managing customer demand through the assurance of parts availability within the supply chain. Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact; escalate risks when necessary. Monitoring the life cycles of materials and finished products to ensure timely availability and prevent obsolescence. Identify Priorities and oversee adherence. Oversight of the Production program. Examine the absent components for inclusion in the Discrete Job Shortage Report. Programming derived from the Supply Chain Planning. Cancellation of Unfulfilled Orders. Oversee the distribution of orders to be dispatched. Oversee transactions within the system. Evaluation of the Shortage Report. Evaluation of the Listing Report. Release production rates determined by assembly line capacity. Evaluation of the conducted cycle count lists. Communicate and analyze discrepancies when identified. Report any system issues that may occur to facilitate transactions. Communication with plants engaged in the transportation of materials Problem-solving and decision-making as required within the department. Education and Experience A completed professional career integrated with experience and education directly pertinent to planning. A minimum of three years' experience as a Production Planner.
