Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor that works in collaboration with a private client on various infrastructure projects as part of a large framework in the South. They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a project worth £20m, with a scope of works includes earthworks, drainage, otter rehabilitation, culverts and rivers etc. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor as part of a larger framework team that is site based. You will be responsible for the commercial administration on this scheme (but not limited to): Accurate monthly forecasting and agreeing on variations Producing and sending subcontractors enquiries Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations Managing change and producing compensation events Preparing and submitting final accounts Requirements including certificates and qualifications: Requirements including certificates and qualifications: Degree-qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalent Experience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projects Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK The successful candidate will be rewarded with a generous package plus opportunities to progress further within the business.
