Our client is a UK market leader, who are have rare opportunities to join their established Estates team, we are seeking a Senior Estates Surveyor to take a lead role in managing an existing team and to take direct ownership for a significant leasehold UK property portfolio. Responsibilities of a Senior Estates Surveyor Manage a diverse portfolio of leasehold properties, ensuring efficient estate oversight and optimal use of space. Lead periodic lease renewals and rent reviews, negotiating favorable terms in line with company strategy. Collaborate with company solicitors to review lease clauses and address associated legal matters. Coordinate with external contractors and trades to plan and draft internal layouts and fit-outs. Review and approve property-related costs, including rent, service charges, and building insurance, prior to payment. Maintain and regularly update the company’s property database to ensure accurate and current records. Identify and secure suitable sites for new locations and relocations, negotiating Heads of Terms aligned with business requirements. Oversee the disposal of surplus or vacant properties through lease expiry, assignments, or sub-leasing. Manage ongoing building maintenance and repairs, ensuring all properties are kept in excellent condition. The Person Hold an RICS accredited degree and ideally with at least 5 years PQE Existing lease management experience within a similar senior estates or asset management role.
