Business Manager - Nottingham £35,000 - £40,000 basic car uncapped commission (OTE £50k realistic, top performers £70k) Company Overview A market leader in hot food-to-go with over 25 years of success, supplying freshly prepared meals to schools, colleges, universities, and workplaces across the UK. With an £8m turnover and a strong reputation for quality and service, the business offers over 40 chef-inspired products, blending nutritious pasta with delicious sauces to deliver convenient, affordable, and consistently popular meals. The organisation has around 20% market share within education and healthcare catering, with clear growth ambitions and a strong pipeline of opportunity. Role Overview As Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients in Nottingham and the surrounding area. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, recognition, and support to drive territory performance. Your focus will be on winning new business while also nurturing existing accounts. You'll be selling a proven and in-demand product, engaging with multi-academy trusts, schools, contract caterers, buying groups, and NHS sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and driven individual with foodservice sales experience to develop their career in a high-growth, values-driven business. Key Responsibilities Generate new business in line with targets (2 new business appointments per week). Manage a territory of 100-150 existing clients, with 2-3 visits per year per account. Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, contract caterers, and healthcare providers. Deliver engaging product demonstrations and tastings to decision-makers. Proactively self-source leads through networking and territory knowledge. Maintain accurate reporting and provide regular updates on pipeline and performance. Requirements 2 years' experience in foodservice sales. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Energetic, driven, and motivated to prove success in a competitive market. Strong relationship-building and presentation skills. Ability to manage both new business development and account management. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.
