TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Akron, Ohio, 44307! Pay Information $2,218 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required to qualify for submission. Description: Registered Nurse position in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry specialty. This is a night shift role requiring three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel. A permanent Ohio nursing license is required, or a compact state license for eligible starts. Candidates must have active BLS and ACLS certifications without any pending issues. Reference from a supervisory role in the specialty applying is mandatory for qualification. All required certifications must be current with no pending items. An ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment will be completed during orientation. Acceptable scores on both assessments are required for continuation. Candidates will have two attempts to pass these assessments. Background checks will be reviewed by the facility, but open cases will disqualify candidates. Candidates with license hits will not be accepted. Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. All other candidates must provide a negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine, within 12 months of start. Candidates must complete required modules prior to their start date. Modules are billable, with a maximum of four hours allowed. Additional time required for pre-start modules is non-billable. Modules will vary by specialty and annual modules are billable for travelers on contract for a continuous year.
