The Role: Your Key Responsibilities As an HGV driver, you will be crucial to the smooth transfer of stock between operational depots. Safe Operation: Drive an 18-tonne lorry safely and efficiently, ensuring full compliance with all road and safety regulations. Logistics Management: Work closely with the Dispatch team to ensure all inter-depot deliveries are completed professionally and on time. Loading/Unloading: Carefully load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Vehicle Checks: Perform mandatory pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records (logs, mileage, etc.). Professionalism: Maintain a professional image by wearing the provided uniform and delivering high-quality, professional service at all times.
