Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and organised Production Coordinator to join our small, dedicated team. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth running of manufacturing operations ensuring production is cost-effective, meets quality specifications, and that goods are delivered to customers on time. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a robust production schedule to meet customer demand and optimise manufacturing efficiency. Ensure labour and material requirements are met; communicate any shortages promptly. Evaluate raw materials and bill of materials to confirm readiness for production. Track and report the progress of goods in manufacture , ensuring deadlines are met and any issues are communicated across departments. Monitor supplier and production performance , identifying and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and planning accuracy. Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans to maintain production flow. Generate and distribute KPI reports , analysing performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives . Support process optimisation and cost-reduction activities across production and logistics. About You: Previous experience in a production planning or coordination role within a manufacturing environment. Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Confident using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office , particularly Excel . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to liaise effectively with multiple departments. Highly organised , with attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities. A proactive team player with the flexibility to thrive in a small-company environment .
