Job Description
LeverageTek is actively seeking a Project Manager (Improving People Data) for a 5-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Remote Key tasks Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for SAP Org Management initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations Coordinate updates and restructuring of SAP data, including creation and maintenance of object types (Org Units, Positions, Jobs), relationships, and vacancy infotypes In conjunction with Continuous Improvement, Manager, Talent Services, facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather business requirements and validate organizational structure changes Document current and future state organizational models and ensure alignment with HR operational needs Oversee data quality reviews and ensure integrity of data across SAP ECC and integrated systems Collaborate with stakeholders to support reporting needs, including development of custom reports and validation of standard SAP HR reports Track and report on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to the Manager, Talent Services Support testing and validation of org management related changes in SAP ECC, including coordination of user acceptance testing Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements related to organizational management Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Talent Service Key Qualifications Managing SAP ECC 6.0 project experience. You’ve led or helped run projects that use SAP ECC 6.0. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate SAP-related initiatives while engaging stakeholders across departments. You can manage teams made up of people from different departments (like HR, IT, and finance) and keep everyone aligned and working together on SAP-related projects. Solid understanding of SAP OM structures, including object types (such as Organizational Units, Positions, and Jobs), A/B relationships, and vacancy infotypes. You understand how the HR and organizational structure is built inside SAP — things like departments (Org Units), roles (Jobs), specific people assigned to those roles (Positions), and how they’re linked together (A/B relationships) or tracked when there are vacancies. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience and a 1-2 year post-secondary certification/diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification or enrolled in the program and completed during employment. Proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite) and payroll software and systems, preferably ADP. Knowledge of payroll regulations, policies, and practices. Strong attention to detail, mathematical aptitude and accuracy to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. Ability to identify and resolve issues, by applying standard procedures and functional or organizational knowledge. Communication skills, diplomacy and empathy to interpret information and deliver advice, clarify client or stakeholder needs, offer solutions, and resolve escalations in new or somewhat sensitive situations.
