Program Auditor (Technology and Systems)

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Program Auditor (Technology and Systems) for a 5-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Hybrid (Ottawa or GTA) Key Tasks: Review project and platform governance structures, decision-making records, and oversight mechanisms. Assess the different practices, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting. Evaluate internal controls and compliance mechanisms that affect the system including but not limited to: Data migration Segregation of duties and permissions in the system Prepare a readiness checklist and risk assessment specific to the project and platform. Lead workshops with stakeholders to address identified gaps. Support remediation activities, including documentation updates and process improvements. Provide regular status updates to project leadership. Key Qualifications: Must have recent and demonstrated experience providing Auditing and Advisory support within Government / Public Sector related to Enterprise Corporate Technology Systems. Must have recent and demonstrated experience supporting the Office of the CIO in preparing for a technology and systems audit conducted by the Office of the Auditor General. Must have a strong understanding of how technology and systems support mission critical business and operational processes and what this means from an Audit and Compliance perspective (Ie. How to manage risk and how to be prepared to answer questions from an Auditor regarding minimizing Business and Operational risk) Assets Experience with Grant Management Systems is an asset Ability to speak and write in both French and English is an asset Experience with Grant Management software solutions including Salesforce is an asset Strong understanding of Finance and Procurement related to technology and systems procurement and spend is an asset About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions Founded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
