BMS Controls Engineer

Our client is an hugely established Building Services company. They are currently looking for a BMS Controls engineer to join their stable team. This BMS Controls engineer will be based from one of their prestigious contracts based in Harlow. As a BMS Controls engineer your duties will include: * To ensure effective operation of the BMS monitoring system * To ensure all alarms are correctly prioritised to align with customer requirements & expectations * To ensure system graphics are an accurate reflection of the facility M&E plant & equipment * To provide system based reports on various topics as/when required * To perform basic maintenance routines on the facility field equipment & controllers ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability * To create/update graphics to improve existing layouts BMS controls engineer responsibilities: * Day to day operation & monitoring of all M&E plant & equipment * Create back-ups of the system profiles after any changes are made * Keep all graphical pages up to date * Monitor system Alarms for accuracy * Maintain associated field equipment and perform basic repairs/upgrade as required to * Controllers * Sensors * Meters * Calibration of field sensors so they accurately reflect conditions on site (in conjunction with site Ops team) * To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation * Good communication with the other technical engineers and specialist sub-contractors, especially in the event of an incident If you’re interested in this BMS controls engineer role, please APPLY now
