Team Manager / Solicitor - Landlord & Tenant Litigation Uckfield, East Sussex | Full-time, Office-based Recruiting via HR GO Recruitment Overview HR GO Recruitment is working with a respected law firm in Uckfield to find a confident and motivated Team Manager / Solicitor to join and help lead their Landlord & Tenant Litigation department. This role is ideal for a Newly Qualified Solicitor with 6-12 months' post-qualification experience in litigation (not necessarily in landlord and tenant law). If you're not already in a management role but ready to step up, this is a great opportunity to grow into a leadership position with full support and training. Please note: This is a full-time, office-based role. Candidates must be comfortable with commuting to Uckfield daily. The Role As part of a specialist litigation team, you'll manage a small team of fee earners while also handling your own caseload. While direct experience in landlord & tenant law isn't required, you must have a strong grounding in litigation. Full training on sector-specific legislation and procedure will be provided. Key Responsibilities Support and manage a team of 3-4 fee earners (management training provided if needed) Allocate caseloads and monitor team performance Handle defended and complex litigation cases Draft legal documents including possession notices, claims, and court orders Liaise with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties Maintain accurate records, templates, and internal procedures Stay current with legal developments (CPD and training opportunities provided)What We're Looking For Solicitor with 6-12 months' PQE (NQ considered with strong litigation exposure) Background in civil litigation (landlord & tenant experience a bonus but not essential) Ambitious and organised, with a desire to step into or grow in a management role Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail Excellent communication and client-handling skills Confident working independently and as part of a teamWhat's on Offer Starting salary: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience.
