SEN Teacher - Rochdale Job Title: SEND Teacher Area: Rochdale, Manchester Start Date: ASAP / October 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS SEN Allowance (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm About the school: Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We're working with a brilliant specialist school that supports students aged 11-19 with a range of complex learning needs, autism, and physical or sensory impairments. The team is warm, welcoming, and focused on creating a safe, inclusive space where students can truly thrive. About the role: Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to pupils primarily across KS2 and KS3 Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones Work closely with the SENCO, support staff and parents/carers to provide a consistent and holistic approach What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment) A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child's progress To be eligible you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references This is a full-time position starting in October 2025 (or sooner for the right candidate).
