LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST in Troy, New York Job ID: 130976 Specialty: Anesthesiologist Practice Setting: Hospital-Based Dates/Coverage Needed: Beginning December 2025, full-time for 3 months with the option to extend. Call rotation - weeknight beeper call from 7 pm - 7 am and weekend beeper call 7 am - 7 am. Support Staff/Supervision: Will do some own cases but also supervise CRNAs 1:3 or 1:4 of ORs: 8 Patient Demographic: Adult patient population - low volume of pediatric cases. Case Mix: General Surgery, Endo, Vascular, OB, Ortho, Bariatric Surgery, Uro, Gyn. No hearts or heads, very limited peds. There are 100 deliveries per month, but the epidural rate is low (large midwifery program), C-Section rate is 15%. Credentialing Time-Frame: 60 days Active NY license: Highly preferred BC/BE: BC required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS COVID Vaccine: Yes Travel/Lodging/Rental or Mileage: Yes Pay Rate: $350-$375 per hour The Independence Difference: Never worry about your travel accommodations again!
