Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. Starting Nov 3, 2025, this opportunity features Monday through Friday day shifts, with dedicated time for panel management and charting. The role involves providing comprehensive outpatient care across all age groups in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Nov 3, 2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (includes 4 hours per week for panel management and charting) Responsibilities and Duties Provide primary care for patients of all ages, managing acute, chronic, and preventive health needs Perform routine exams and screenings such as annual wellness visits, well-child checks, physicals, cancer screenings, and immunizations Deliver women's health services including Pap smears, contraceptive management, and prenatal/postpartum care as credentialed Conduct common office procedures: laceration repair, incision and drainage, biopsies, cryotherapy, joint injections, splinting, and wound care Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and point-of-care tests Coordinate referrals as needed Additional Information California medical license required Board certification in Family Medicine required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required 1-3 years outpatient experience preferred Prior FQHC experience is preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
