Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,186 per week in Farmville, VA

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer Profession: Ultrasound Technologist Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years in a similar setting License: Completion of a two-year degree or certification program in Ultrasonography Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), BLS Must-Have: - Familiarity with GE/Cerner - General ultrasound skills (abdomen, OB, small parts) - Lower leg venous imaging (DVT) Description: New position available for an ultrasound technologist/sonographer. The role requires proficiency in general ultrasound, lower venous (DVT), and breast imaging. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting is required. The work schedule is from 3 PM to 12 AM, Monday through Thursday. On-call duty is required for one night, typically Thursday into Friday until 7 AM. The candidate must be capable of performing general ultrasound, as well as lower leg venous (DVT) and breast imaging. Familiarity with GE/Cerner systems is essential. The individual will perform imaging for both in-patients and out-patients for physician review and interpretation. COVID and flu vaccination or approved declination are required. All requests for time off must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance. No local travelers under 60 miles will be accepted. Cancellations of up to three shifts may occur due to census fluctuations. Prior travel experience is required for all positions. Floating is not required for this role.
